YOU'LL DIG THIS. In the early hours of 2010 the Ghost Town woke up with burnt orange surprise as the legendary Elgin Art Works gang rode into town on their guitars.

We've dubbed this spirited collection of artists, musicians, comedians, wiccans, painters, pirates and poets DR. MOORE'S AMAZING TRAVELLING MEDICINE SHOW.

These creative folks quickly planted themselves and their cedar post music stage and their giant 6 foot flower garden atop the streets and spaces of J.Lorraine TX.

The Amazing Dr. Reed Moore and his carnival companeros include his daughter Leslie, sidekicks Tom & Scarlett, Logan, Sarah & Scott, K.C & Will, Candice, Alana & David Adams, Phill, Donna, Chris, Richard, Kim, the other Tom, Justin, Blue Eyed James, Sammy and his cool cat dog Dumpster.

The list of new pals grows longer and longer each week: Brent, Joe 1, Joe 2, Gordon, Margaret, Bull, Bonnie and their drummer Koko, umm, Mr. Nobody, Wayne, Electrick Elmer, Edge, Stephen, Devon and you when you get here.

WHO DAT?

WHO DAT? Can you name this famous country honky tonk cowboy from Nashville? He and his gang came to the Ghost Town to shoot the cover for his next album which will be released soon. CLUE: This cat's had more Number One songs than George has.

C'mon, take your best shot at figuring who this masked and anonymous man is. OK all you eagle eyes, see the guy on Elvis Costello's left, that's the guy who's name is Nobody for the time being. The first smarty who identifies the guy in the cowboy hat not the guy in the porkpie hat, can claim the reward. At the Ghost Town Grille. I'll buy you a giant-sized Ghost Burger, fries and a drink. Just ask for Elmer.

The other prize is a Freebie CD of the mystery man's upcoming new album. His name is not Slim Whitman nor is it Casy Bolt.

We are sworn to secrecy regarding his identity and the CD's title until it's out. So mark your calendar for a summer trip to your favorite Austin music store, Waterloo Records for example, go to the New Release section by the front door and grab the first CD that you see with Ghost Town on the cover. Which is now The World Famous Ghost Town.

OMEGA  FILM PRODUCTIONSTHE SON OF THE MARSHAL
.
Directed byANDY GARCIA  Produced byABEL VALDEZ StarringSANTIAGO LINARES FeaturingLAZARO A. SOLARES . Special Ghost Appearance by GEORGE RICHARDS as The Marshal

Omega Film Productions located in Houston, Texas filmed its newest movie here at J.Lorraine Ghost Town. This off beat western features the Ghost Town as its primary location. The film's title is =THE SON OF THE MARSHAL= (EL HIJO DEL MARSHAL). The Director Andy Garcia and the Producer Abel Valdez are busy editing the film before its release this summer to theatres in Houston, Austin and San Antonio. The Ghost Town will host the film's premiere which will be a "Must Event" for you, your families and friends.

In the film The Son pledges to find and kill the six outlaws who've murdered his father. None of the characters in the film have names. Each character is called by type: The Marshal, The Son and the Holy Ghosts and as you well know there are plenty of not so friendly ghosts planted around J.Lorraine TX.

The Ghost Town's founder George Richards plays The Marshal and I enjoyed watching George get shot repeatedly. By the camera. Several Ghost Town regulars have roles in the film. Melanie Boston plays The Woman with a blue dress on. Jack Eastwood plays The Wise Old Man. The Ghost Town's village idiot plays The Banker. Scarlett and Diamond are naturals in their roles as Los Perros Perezosos.

The ever-popular Elmer O'Toole refused all offers to appear in the film stating, "A nude scene? No way Jose. Not me baby. Not for all the money in the Ghost Town."
